My fantastic friend Michelle is the same size as me and whenever she comes round she always raids my wardrobe and tries stuff on. It’s a running (half!) joke that I wont leave her alone in my bedroom in case she steals my clothes.
Michelle is getting married in a couple of months and she and her partner Sophie have asked the husband to take the wedding pictures. So the other Sunday, Michelle came over so the husband could have a play around with his camera taking shot of her. I used this opportunity to get us both wearing the same outfit so that people could see what clothes look like on people who are the same clothes size but different shapes ( I did something similar here with Gina).

Trousers – Very.co.uk
Blouse – New Look
Jacket – ASOS last year (similar here)
Michelle is a fair bit taller than me, has longer legs, a shorter body, smaller boobs and wider hips. Overall I think she looks heaps better in the outfit than I do (no Michelle, that doesn’t mean I’m going to donate it to your wardrobe!)…
The trousers are really comfortable and go all the way up to size 32! I pretty much wear them once a week in various outfits – sometimes with a blue t-shirt and black blazer, sometimes with a cardi and t-shirt. This outfit is one I wear for work a lot. The blazer is an anomaly for me – firstly, its pink! Secondly, its pink! Also, as something that is a light colour it has survived for over a year without being ruined by oil or something equally evil.
Some of you may recognise Michelle as the lady behind Redbows Boutique – a plus size vintage pop store. Michelle is now online and you can buy her amazing finds on etsy.
I think I will be doing this a few more times with Michelle – it was fun!
