Dude Looks Like A Lady

Shirt – ASOS

Jacket – c/o Very.co.uk

Trousers – Yours clothing

Brogues – New Look (last year)

In order to get a bit more blogging done, I’m doing a new theme – Work Wear Wednesday. As I have mentioned a lot, I can pretty much wear what I like to the office but I try to ire on the side of smart rather than casual. Most of the time. Obviously, its lovely on those days where you are late getting up or simply cannot be bothered, to be able to throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and not care what you look like. But to be honest, I start thinking about what I’m going to wear the night before and often make my final decision during my morning shower! Wee bit weird? Possibly!

I get a lot of my inspiration for outfits by people watching or reading blogs so I thought it would be nice to share some of my hard thought about outfits more often (I really do spend too much time thinking about what I am going to wear!!)… so here’s my first WWW post:

I didn’t realise how mannish this outfit looked until I looked back at the pictures, but know what I like it! I am also pushing a big fat red brave button and tucking my shirt in. The trousers are a size too big so they are loose enough I don’t feel self conscious. The horse blouse has to be one of the best things I have ever bought from ASOS curve, I wear it heaps and its featured in a lot of posts on here too. The tweed jacket is another thing I wear a lot of at the moment. I love every thing about it and I make it fit with pretty much anything. ┬áThe brogues are some I bought about 18 months ago and have barely worn until recently. I think mainly because they have suddenly loosened up and are more comfy to wear.

So, what is favourite item at the moment?

  1. Far from a man-ish look it is a beautiful smart pretty lady look. I love the blouse tucked in. Looks fab. The belt on the trousers pull the whole look together.
