I had a bit of a moment when I saw this week’s theme on the spreadsheet (I love the fact we’re that organised!) and was all “I don’t have any floral print! Then I calmed down and realised I have a few bits – tights, scarfs, shoes, two dresses and two tunics!
My fashion resolution this year was to wear colours outside of my default palette of grey and blue. With this in mind I wore this floral themed outfit:
Tunic – Joe Browns at Simply Be
Long sleeve top – Dorothy Perkins
Jeans – New Look
Loafers – Dorothy Perkins
A very different colour scheme for me! So this week I’ve worn red, black and now khaki!!
The tunic is the second one of this I have bought – the first one got ruined by grease when I was cooking! I have always worn it with leggings, but the red in the top go really well with my brick red jeans from New Look. So a new outfit is born!! Like all Joe Browns items, it’s really well made and 100% cotton. I’ve had it for about two years and it’s still in perfect condition. So whilst they are pricey, they are certainly worth investing in.
This weekend is the Husband’s 30th birthday celebrations, so we’ll be spending a fair bit of time eating and drinking and catching up with friends! So even if the weather doesn’t behave, it’ll still be a great long weekend!
Don’t forget to check out what the others are wearing:

Great colours on you, I like how the floral print has a tropical feel to it too!
