I went to the swap with a large suitcase full to the brim and a large Tesco shopping bag full of stuff. I came home with less (which I am pleased about) but some really good items! I did pick up some items which have now gone straight into the charity bag. I think at first I just felt the need to pick something up and ended up with some random bits of crap!
What I did get was two Beth Ditto dresses (one still with its tags!), a H&M inclusive cardigan, a pair of dungarees, a t-shirt, a swing coat, a black dress, a denim mini skirt, a roll neck jumper and a kaftan. So over the next week I plan to post an outfit created from my goodies. Here goes with outfit number one:
Going for the Land Girl’s look with this one. Although the husband says I look like a reject from Dexy’s Midnight Runners! The dungarees and t-shirt are the swap scores and I love the dungarees like you wouldn’t believe! Initially Kirsty tried them on and they were far too big for her, so I grabbed them next and promptly fell for them. They are ultra comfy and have baggy legs which I always prefer with jeans. I wore this outfit all day yesterday and I just know the dungarees will be a firm relaxed favourite.

Thats my t shirt – I’m glad it got a good home! The outfit looks so cute on you, especially the hairband. I wish I’d been able to get there earlier as I think all the best stuff (that would have fit me) went first thing.

I didn’t start picking stuff up to later – I just had to dig for it! What did you get?
That top is a great colour on you! Love the print on the hairband.
I will do a post on the headband!
Yay dungarees! They look super awesome on you. I have one pair and they are literally my favourite lazy day attire. x
Thanks K! I love them and I plan to annoy my mother all Christmas by wearing them!
hehe, are you by any chance trying to spearhead the revival of dungarees for ss12?! Love the hairband! w x
How did you guess? I think we should bring them back – they are AWESOME!
Loving the dungas
I was very tempted by that t-shirt, but as I walked off with half your wardrobe I got a great haul!
I’m glad they went to a good home! Which bits did you get?
Hi, I love your dungarees! Could I ask where they are from?
I don’t know, I’m afraid. They don’t have a label in either. I’m not even sure what size they are! The joys of clothes swaps!
